Welcome to sunset ridge veterinary services

Veterinary acupuncture has a long history dating back over 3000 years ago in China.  It was introduced to the USA in the 1970’s and has become more mainstream today as a complementary treatment modality.

There are many resources for information on veterinary acupuncture.  The veterinary professional organizations, International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) www.ivas.org and the American Association of Veterinary Acupuncture (AAVA) www.aava.org , both have informative web sites.

My practice is limited to traditional chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM).

Acupuncture is a branch of TCVM as are Tui Na and Chinese Herbs. I focus on acupuncture and may add an other modality depending on the animal’s condition.

Mine is a mobile practice in Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. I make house/farm calls and treat animals out of pre-arranged veterinary clinics.

Feel free to e-mail or call with any questions concerning acupuncture for your pet.
